I really think this is great and it’s one step forward to an ultimate mix between real life and the digital world. In the future we might wear electronic glasses that we can use to see augmented online information, like a virtual person who is telling something about the latest train delays.
Or a virtual layer that is covering our real view on things, so we can see how the building looked like in 1734, complete with the people who lived then.

The most famous example of augmented reality in a movie is that of the Terminator (Cameron, 1984). When the Terminator arrives in the past he scans the environment. He not only sees images of the real world, but he also sees some information about the reality lying as a layer on top of reality (see picture).
