I was not totally up to date on this one, apparently. But it seems like the company ‘Polaroid’ has decided to stop the manufacturing of it’s famous films. Although there are still many fans of the instant photographs (including me), the demand for there signature product is too low as a result of the development of digital photography.

Polaroid is hoping to sell the technique to another company, but so far it looks bad for the Polaroid enthusiasts. Meanwhile they will be developing portable printers and such.

I am a real fan of new technical products, and I love the digital age, but it is a shame if it results into making some of these great inventions disappear. I really hope the vinyl record will sustain a little bit longer.

Suitable for this sad news is the song ‘breathe me’ by Sia I think, especially since the video clip is made with Polaroid pictures.
