A few months ago these three men wrote a book on the evolution of media: Me the Media. Past, Present and Future of the Third Media Revolution investigates the exciting development of web based media. It envisages a future of hyper-individualization, of ICTainment on top of ICTechnology, and of meaningful web conversations between organizations, customers and employees.
I bought the book and start reading a few weeks ago. I must say that I found it very interesting. They wrote about how media evolved over time. And I don’t mean that they wrote some kind of history book. They tell about great happenings in the past and connect those thing to the present. They talk about how mankind is connecting more and more to the internet. They tell about how web logs work in (dis)advantage to large organizations and what this development will bring us in the future.
It’s a nice book about IT and media with a little philosophical sauce poured over it.

Yes, received my copy in the mail last week. Very informative, entertaining and easy to read. The several true-story cases empowers the story too. I recommend this book to anyone who works in our field.
