I would like to show you a very creative campaign thought out by BBDO / Proximity. It’s featuring a Husky and a Camel. The silhouettes of those two combined form a new shape which is a Jeep, because the shapes have a transparancy. Real clever illustration done by Gary Lim. Too bad it isn’t that clear in a smaller format. There’s also another version of an Eskimo and a bushman, but I find the first one better. The advertisement even won a Gold Lion at Cannes in the Outdoor category. I think it’s deserved because it’s real clever and simple.
I’m not sure what the relation of the animals is to a car but I can think of a few things (Husky = fast/strong, Camel = has great storage).


I’ve always liked the name as well, JEEP! JEEEEP, JEEPIE..
Jeep also stands for adventure and outdoor.
