Nick Joore is a fellow student of us. He is also a student from the fourth grade of Communication and Multimedia Design and he did some great work! Maybe you already heard about it, but he and his team (students from the Hogeschool van Rotterdam) won the first price in the Dutch part of the Imagine Cup organized by Microsoft.
Nick’s team, The Four Elements made an X-Box360 game for children about the environment. The game is called The Guardian of Eden. The goal of the game is to create more awareness by children about the environment. At the website you can download a demo.

Now Four Elements has won the Dutch finals, they are going to the world finals where the winner can win 15000 euro!
Maarten-Jan Vermeulen, a jury member of the Dutch final, is very glad that the Four Elements has won: “Now we have something to show in Paris. I think this team can end up in the top six of the world.”
We, the 6 angry men as fellow students, are very proud about Nick and we hope that his team wins. Then we have two champions in our little country: the Dutch football team and the Four Elements!
