Today Jankees unveiled there is coming a new Creative Suit from Adobe. Hopefully it will be a better release as the previous one. The release of CS3 wasn’t that impressive, except for the fact it was much quicker because it ran native on Intel Mac’s.
‘Dear Adobe’ is a website where you you can post a gripe (a complaint) about Adobe’s software. A place where people can vent about the software they use every day. Hopefully Adobe is reading along, so they will improve some of them. I really enjoy working with Adobe’s applications but I also have some complaints. One I didn’t found on ‘Dear Adobe’, is the fact when you make a clipping mask in Illustrator, not the mask itself becomes the selectable area but the whole illustration or image beneath it. This is really annoying if you are not that organized.
And I would also like to switch between open documents with ‘ctrl + Tab’ just like in Photoshop. Why is this different in Illustrator?
The number one gripe:
• Why does the Acrobat Reader take two minutes to launch, and require updates twice a month, just to display PDF pages.
Yeah the mask thing is really annoying, especially when trying to align stuff. I can use ctrl + tab in my illustrator though…
Hmm, probably a Mac thing then..
nice title.
